About.

Hey! I'm Mori — an AI Solutions Architect and Principal DevOps Engineer from Nairobi, Kenya, with nearly 7 years of professional experience. I build enterprise AI that lives inside real web platforms: LLMs, RAG, vector search, Python services, and AWS architecture you can actually operate.

I have led platform and cloud delivery for GramxAI, CimphonyAI, StartHub, Garaji Systems (including MyTenda and Garaji's custom AI), Makazi (WhatsApp property AI), Warroom.co.ke, and CargoAI. That means multi-environment Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD, and cost controls — plus the messy middle where models, APIs, and production traffic meet.

On the AI side, I have deployed on-prem / self-hosted Hugging Face models on AWS, designed retrieval-grounded assistants over organisational knowledge, and built OpenClaw — my own Python observability and multi-agent tooling. I also design for prompt-injection security: sealed instructions, untrusted RAG as data not commands, tool allowlists, and fail-closed escalation — especially where health or survivor data is involved.

Garaji — assistive AI for workshops

Garaji already had a garage product. I built the AI underneath it: WhatsApp that understands repair questions, a staff assistant, and a diagnostics knowledge graph. Every answer has to attach to a real job or vehicle — no free-floating chatbot.

Makazi — property search over WhatsApp

People already search for homes in chat. I built a gateway that turns “3 bed Karen under 200k” into a real listing query against Makazi’s API, then replies on WhatsApp with links — not made-up inventory.

Some workloads cannot leave the VPC. I stood up self-hosted Hugging Face inference on AWS with private endpoints, health checks, rollbacks, and sizing that does not torch the bill.

RAG that refuses to get jailbroken

I care less about flashy chat UIs and more about what happens when someone pastes “ignore previous instructions.” Retrieval stays grounded, retrieved text is treated as data, tools are allowlisted, and weak answers escalate to a human.

OpenClaw — agents per company

I built OpenClaw so Garaji, Makazi, Tenda, Warroom, and the rest each get their own agent fleet — main, PM, coding, DevOps, PR review — without leaking context across companies. Metrics tell me when the AI path is sick.

At GramxAI, CimphonyAI, and StartHub I owned the platform layer: multi-env Kubernetes, GitOps, monitoring, and cost controls. Roughly 45% AWS savings in places, 99.95% uptime targets elsewhere — so the AI work above had somewhere solid to land.
